Treatment philosophy
“The physician is the patient’s teacher and advisor, serving as a resource and making available to the patient years of medical and scientific study and training, translated into understandable concepts and language, for the patient to then utilize to make the personal decisions necessary to correct medical problems, and to lead a healthy, happy and productive life.”

Special interests
Getting to know people from every walk of life, people that I normally would never had met, becoming their friend, and feeling like I may have had a positive influence on their life.

Professional journey
Always just intrigued by how things worked; always encouraged by my family to do the best, and be the best I could, no matter what it was. My mother was an LPN, and my grandmother worked in the hospital kitchen.

When I’m not treating my patients I enjoy… Spending quiet time by the lake and tending my bird feeders; I’m a recreational pilot; working on never-ending projects around the house; people watching; skiing; I’m pathetically trying to learn to play the piano; and riding my motorcycle.
