Bert Cole, DO
I like to develop relationships with patients that stress the importance of the body’s ability to heal itself and encourage a balance of mind, body and spirit.
Dr. Cole grew up in Portland, Maine, and received his bachelor of science degree from Bates College in Lewiston, ME. He later moved to upstate New York to complete his residency and remained in that area until 1997 working as a family and emergency physician and wound care specialist. While in New York, Dr. Cole held a clinical teaching appointment at the SUNY-Syracuse before returning to New England. Prior to joining Salmon Falls Family Healthcare, Dr. Cole practiced in Hampton, NH, where he was known to his patients and colleagues as a trusted and knowledgeable family physician.
Dr. Cole holds a Certification in Acupuncture after completing a 300+ hour course at Harvard University. “I enjoy using manual medicine/osteopathic treatments as an adjunct to my practice as well as incorporating the philosophy of yoga.” He has a special interest in treating musculoskeletal injuries and disorders, and has volunteered his knowledge and skills in treating patients with multiple sclerosis and muscular dystrophy.
